Read on as we share some of our favorite Virginia wedding venues we’re certain you’ll love too!
Nestled on a 265-acre pastoral estate in Middleburg, Virginia, one of our favorite Virginia wedding venues, the Goodstone Inn, is a simply beautiful retreat. This amazing team approaches your wedding as more than one day – it’s an event that brings together your closest friends and family for an exclusive weekend experience. When our K Bella couples say “I do” on this historic wine- and hunt-country estate, they often opt for a property buy-out, and your destination wedding is the Inn’s only focus. The entire luxury estate can be yours, from the inviting pool (ideal for a welcome party) and all of their beautifully-appointed guest cottages, to the Woodsy Garden for a beautiful tented wedding. There are several options to explore for your weekend at Goodstone – from planning a rehearsal dinner in the Conservatory, intimate family celebrations in the Manor, or a Yoga class by the pool during your wedding weekend. Say your vows in front of their idyllic ivy wall surrounded by those you hold dear, retreat by the pool for a beverage, and then enjoy dining al fresco. Wedding receptions that include more than 60 guests are hosted on the lush lawn under a graceful tent with impressive views of the rolling hills. Foodies love the locally grown offerings and fabulous fare from their much-lauded chef; we love that Goodstone Inn offers the perfect place for luxury Virginia weddings and gatherings, both big and small.
Only two-and-a-half hours outside of Washington, D.C., The Clifton in historic Charlottesville, Virginia, has become a favorite luxury wedding venue for D.C.-area couples, and us too. Both elegant and contemporary, The Clifton offers a destination wedding flexibility that couples adore. You can come in for just your ceremony and reception, or plan an entire weekend of celebrating with friends and family. Surrounded by breathtaking countryside, couples can incorporate a variety of venues into their festivities, from a wedding ceremony on the front lawn to a rehearsal dinner for 20 in the impressive wine cellar of this storied residence. Delight in a tented reception in a majestically forested area of the estate with up to 250 guests or an intimate ceremony for 30 in the Secret Garden. The Clifton’s gorgeous grounds make it easy for us to create a bespoke celebration that will long outlive the day.
Dover Hall commands attention. This serene yet stunning Virginia wedding venue is located among the rolling hills of Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, between Charlottesville and Richmond, and it was designed for lavish entertainment. This extraordinary estate evokes a sense of historic grandeur while meeting the needs of couples and their guests with modern and plentiful amenities. Fit for royalty, this luxury Virginia wedding venue offers gracious boutique accommodations, high-touch service, and an unrivaled culinary experience. Their outdoor ceremony locations, including the Reflecting Pool, Bluestone Terrace, and Two-Tiered Garden, are among the most popular for couples who wish to be surrounded by lush natural beauty as they say their vows. Cocktail hours are a dazzling wedding experience that can include everything from tours of the estate to signature libations in the Pub Bar. The magnificently inviting Ballroom was built for the grandest of receptions. From the wrought iron chandeliers to the awe-inspiring sandstone fireplace and wood coffered ceilings, every detail delights. Stately seated affairs of up to 150 wedding guests or stationed receptions for 250 are well-suited to the space. For larger celebrations of up to 400, an elegantly inviting outdoor tent on the picturesque lawn will make this Old World English-style venue feel even more magical.
Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards in North Garden, Virginia, offers an exquisite destination getaway only two-and-a-half hours from Washington, D.C. One of our favorite Virginia wedding venues, this inspiring locale offers all-inclusive packages that can be fine-tuned between couples and their wedding planner for a truly curated experience. The vistas are remarkably compelling; and a huge draw to our couples who are considering outdoor ceremonies and receptions. And if needed, Pippin Hill also can offer a variety of venues (all breathtakingly beautiful) as “Plan B” should weather not cooperate – no matter the situation, the flow of the winery is ideal. Say “I do” on the lawn and enjoy a festive cocktail hour as guests sip vino (or other libations) while watching the sunset on the impressive stone Veranda. Dinner on the lawn is always a joyous event, but we are in love with The Granary. This space, complete with soaring ceilings and hardwood floors, was designed to accommodate up to 200 wedding guests with a charm that evokes comparisons to Tuscany. It’s an escape perfectly designed for us to help make your wedding dreams come true.
