Located in historic hunt country, Goodstone Inn provided a bucolic backdrop for this intimate wedding in Middleburg, Virginia. With most guests staying on the property, we curated a welcome bag full of the bride and her family’s favorite Texas-style treats. With a strong affinity for a more mid-century modern, contrasting style our couple wished to marry both into the design: incorporating blue and white ginger jars with white, matte black and lattice urns, softened by a light and airy palette.

Surrounded by blooms and the peaceful intonations of a solo cellist, the couple said their “I do’s” in front of a romantic ivy-and-rose-covered wall. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed libations and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres by the pool. Nestled in the Woodsy Garden, a sailcloth tent wedding reception (a nod to the couple's love of sailing) inspired guests to dine and dance the night away.
